Struggling through Waiting Seaons!

Hey! Ok so a couple days ago I read a quote from Grace Valentine (check her out she's absolutely amazing) that completely changed my mindset. The quote reads: 

“Don’t let your waiting season be a wasted season”

OK WOW! FIRE! I am currently going through a waiting season and this is exactly what I needed to hear. I am a person who feels emotions deeply, so when I am going through a waiting season, I tend to often forget the opportunity that is presented in front of me. Our first instinct is to primarily focus on the negative, but remember all of the positives! There are so many opportunities being presented to you! Use that time that God is giving you and see the good!! 1 Corinthians (specifically chapter 7) is a great place to see how you can use your waiting season to glorify the Lord! Waiting seasons can be so frustrating, and I know that because I’m in one right now. Just know that they don’t have to be a bad thing if you make the best out of them. Sometimes it's so hard to understand what the Lord is doing and it can cause so much confusion and anger. Trust that He is working everything for good. Worship while you wait! Spend this time reflecting on your relationship with the Lord and focus on what you need!
