My Journey!!

Hi!! I wanted to talk about my personal journey today because I know how much strength is in testimony!!  There’s so so much that I could talk about including different encounters and crazy experiences, but I’m just going to be giving the condensed version lol!

Growing up I was always believed in God, went to church and was pretty religious. As I got older, it started to fizzle out and I didn’t really see a purpose in it anymore. The first couple months of college was the biggest turning point for me. Obviously going in I had the idea that college was basically one big party and I had never been the type of person who found interest in doing that. I was convinced that I would have no friends if I didn’t conform to how everyone else lived.

Halfway through my first semester, I met some of the most amazing women that showed me this was absolutely not the case. Their compassion, kindness, and eagerness to help me in my faith changed EVERYTHING. I found myself looking up to these women and longing to live a life that would glorify the Lord like they did.

Let me tell you, I have absolutely no regrets. Leaving behind all the “fun” things of this world was the best thing I could’ve done for myself. Living for God has not only made me happier, but it has filled the gap in my heart and showed me true love. One of my favorite verses that shows this is 1 John 4:8:

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

My life did a complete 180 whenever I decided to live my life devoted to Christ. If you’re debating it or don’t know where to start, please reach out! I’d be more than happy to be the same person for you that these women were for me. I love you!!
