All in God's Timing!

Hey!! 

This post is so long overdue, but I wanted to talk about God's timing. I know when I hear someone say that to me, it's frustrating. Everyone always tells you to let go and to trust the Lord, but they never mention how unbelievably hard it is to trust in something unknown. Truth is, I have been frustrated with God for quite some time, struggling to understand His timing. Why is this happening, how can I fix it, what is going to happen in the future…. all the questions. Why can’t I just let this all go and trust in God? For many of us, our first instinct is to control everything we possibly can and figure out every single outcome to try and do damage control. I know I am 100% guilty of that. This was until I realized that almost everything was out of my control, except for my reaction. Trying to force everything to work your way and trying to control other people is like trying to mop up the ocean, it's impossible. We all have one thing to fall back on, which is Christ Jesus. We serve a Lord who is loving, gracious, and always wants the best for us. His timing is so intricate and most of us don’t realize it until after it has happened. God’s plan is always in motion. Take a moment to think about all the ways that God’s timing has worked out perfectly in your life. Know that He has so many good things coming, you just have to be patient. Some things don’t work out for a reason, and while that can be so frustrating, there is something greater on the way. I love you and Jesus does too!!
